Why do I design?

Creativity is an essential part of my identity. Designing products is how I express my creativity.

My imagination can go wild, and I always push boundaries by asking, "what if?". The users and companies I work for and the experiences of my life shape my imagination to create impactful solutions.

I have more than three years of experience designing for SaaS company focusing on file management and worked at a mental health start-up. I'm a Master of Information in User Experience Design candidate from University of Toronto. I've received a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design from OCAD University. My goal is to use my creativity and the skills I have collected thus far to pursue my passion for improving the interpersonal relations and the well-being of our society.

Technical skills: Wireframing, prototyping, UX Writing, heuristic analysis, and site mapping.
Design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Principle, Miro, and InVision.
Research Methods: Interview, questionnaire, observation, card sort, tree test, A/B test, think-aloud, and co-design.

What are my values as a designer?

— Authenticity 🙌
I believe everyone is special and has their own gifts. I strive to explore the capabilities of my own talents, stay true to who I am and not compare myself to others.

— Gratitude 🤗
Be thankful in everything I have experienced including the good and bad times at work/life as it has shaped me to who I am today.

— Diversity ✌️✌🏻✌🏼✌🏽✌🏾✌🏿
It’s intriguing how different we are from each other and what are enticingly produced as a result. I always strive to get out of my own bubble to learn and understand others and cultures different from mine.

What are my passions outside of design?
